BiographyShozo Michikawa was born in 1953 in Hokkaido, the northernmost area ofJapan. He studied at Aoyama Gakuin University where he completed hisstudies in 1975. He lives and works in Seto, Aichi.As one of the most acclaimed and international contemporary Japanese artists,Shozo Michikawa has developed a very unique approach to ceramic andsculpture.
